• Wakarusa: "I don't think we're in Kansas anymore, Toto!"

    In more festival news this week, the Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival, in a Lollapalooza-esque move, has changed locales, even states, for the 2009 event.  Say good-bye to Kansas, Wakarusans, and say hello to beautiful Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Arkansas.  The festival will take place June 4 - 7, giving Bonnaroo a run for its money, especially with tickets starting at an unprecedented $79 - available December 11 - 31, so get 'em fast! 

    The festival lineup will be announced in January, but for an idea of past performers, check out the Wakarusa site.  Hmmm, wonder if Mulberry Mountain will get a Mulberry's Dream...what do you think?

    That looks like a great spot. I'm doing a tour of festies and wakarusa is high on my list. Can't wait to see the Biscuits rage!
