Oscar Winner Becomes Huge Pop Singer
Because the actors had to actually sing in the music biopic (Walk The Line/Ray), the filmmakers had (June Carter Cash/Ray Charles) hand-select the actor who would play the part. (June/Ray) chose wisely but passed away before witnessing (Reese Witherspoon/Jamie Foxx) win the Oscar, The Golden Globe and the Screen Actor's Guild Award. Following the film, (Jamie), armed with a newfound voice, released a pop album that rose to #1 on the charts. A huge singing career is sure to follow.
