Nick Mason Hints At Pink Floyd Reunion

Pink Floyd's Nick Mason says there is an "outside possibility" of the rock group reuniting.

The drummer - who last week played with fellow remaining band members bassist Roger Waters and guitarist David Gilmour at Roger's O2 arena gig in London for only the second time in 30 years - admitted there is a slight chance the threesome could reform.

He said: "I think particularly at the moment David has other issues to worry about.

"But also people change from when they are interested in doing something to when they're not. I think that we will just have to wait quietly to see if Dave ever does come around to it. I think there is an outside possibility even if it's, you know, another Live 8."

The trio played 'Outside the Wall' at Roger's concert, but Nick admitted he was surprised at the positive reaction their performance had caused.

He added to Rolling Stone magazine: "Incredibly, it's just three old blokes getting together for a moment, really odd. But if that's what people like then, that's great.

"It was really nice to be sort of part of it and to show support for Roger, not that he really needs it."

Earlier this month, Nick revealed it is "very unlikely" the 'The Wall' band will be touring again, but he is keen for the trio to play together at some point.

He previously explained: "No one has said we will never work together again. I live in hope that we will play together again.

"I think it is very unlikely we are going to go out on tour, however I live in hope we would absolutely do another Live 8 or play together for the right reasons."
