Murder By Death Smarter Than We First Thought
Murder By Death could be the coolest band ever. Their first album, 'Like The Exorcist, But More Breakdancing,' was about a war that a Mexican town wages against the devil who has possessed many of the villagers. Their second album, 'In Bocca al Lupo' (which translates to 'In The Mouth of the Wolf') is a phrase that Italian schooldchildren say before taking an exam, to which they reply, 'I will eat the wolf.' The record contains 12 tales of sin, redemption and guilt based loosly off of Dante's Inferno. Lead singer Adam Turla plans to explain the meaning of each song on the band's website - he's done the first three. Roxwel interviewed the band about the video, Brother, and its kick-ass fight scene at this years ACL festival. It will be posted soon.
