Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have surprised us with the secret that they have welcomed a new baby girl to their family.

The couple announced the birth of Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, who was born through a gestational carrier at Nashville's Centennial Womens Hospital on December 28, 2010.

There has been no word on why the couple chose a surrogate, whether or not Urban and Kidman were in the delivery room with her or what 2-year-old Sunday Rose thinks of her new baby sister.

The excited and proud parents stated, "Our family is truly blessed and just so thankful, to haave been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret. No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier."
