Legendary Rolling Stone's guitarist Keith Richards was quoted by British magazine NME this week saying "The strangest thing I've tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father." Richards said he mixed his fathers ashes with cocaine."He was cremated and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn't have cared," he said. "... It went down pretty well, and I'm still alive."

Today, Richards posted on the Rolling Stone's website that it was all a joke, saying that "the story was lost in the usual slanting."

Richards might have more to worry about than a few disgusted fans. He has a upcoming cameo in the newest Disney trilogy Pirates of the Caribbean, that will be in movie theaters at the end of May. Disney VP Dennis Rice has stated that because of Richards' actions, he will not be doing any publicity for one of the biggest movies in 2007. OUCH!
