Heavy amounts of rain and wind hit Brighton Beach New Year's Day, where Fatboy Slim played outside for 20,000 die hard fans. Slim was electrocuted several times during the show from his wet equipment. He stated the event was "cold, wet and dangerous but it went really well." Later on the show was described as a success even with the bad weather.
