• Roxwel's got the exclusive premiere of the newest video from The Airborne Toxic Event - a live rendition of their song "Strange Girl."

The indie rock band is releasing a video for every track of their upcoming album, All At Once, as part of their "Bombastic" video series. Rather than creating expensive and extravagant music videos, the series features one-shot, one-take acoustic performances of songs from their new album set for release on April 26.

Lead singer Mikel Jollett says, "This song is - among other things - our ode to The Cure. Probably the most tongue-in-check of our "Bombastic" series, the video started with a discussion about low-budget horror films and ended with a sleeping girl and night vision. However, we don't recommend playing music in total darkness."

Named after a section of the book White Noise, by Don DeLillo, the group incorporates string instruments and keyboards along with a standard rock lineup of guitar, drums and bass guitar. The group formed in Los Angeles in 2006 and consists of Mikel Jollett (vocals, guitar), Steven Chen (guitar, keyboards), Anna Bulbrook (viola, keyboards), Noah Harmon (bass) and Daren Taylor (drums).

The alt-indie group just played a number of successful shows at Austin's South By Southwest and are set to embark on their "Origins Tour" in April, playing a series of five shows in each market - New York, L.A. and London. Tour dates sold out in an impressive seven minutes, and additional dates have been added to New York and L.A. and will be followed by a full American tour.
