It's not long before Dave Navarro becomes the newest member of the Pussycat Dolls. What happened to you Dave? I have always been a sucker for dark-haired boys who wear eyeliner, but when you start wearing more makeup than I do, it becomes a problem (except of course if you are Robert Smith). Seriously, though--when I was in high school I had a huge crush on Dave Navarro. He was a hardcore rocker dude who was hot as hell with his shirt off. He was in two of my favorite bands, Jane's Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers. He could really play some kickass guitar. Dave had lead an interesting life which helped shape him into the rocker dude that I loved. For instance, at 15 years old, he witnessed his mother being murdered and even appeared on the show America's Most Wanted to help locate her killer (as a result of the show the killer was found). He was a heroin addict and partied a lot. His first marriage was formed in a pagan ceremony. He has been married three times and will soon be officially divored for the third time. He latest musical venture is a band called The Panic Channel, whose debut CD came out August 15. Formed in the wake of Jane's Addiction's demise in early 2004, The Panic Channel features Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins and Chris Chaney, all formerly of Jane's Addiction, as well as vocalist Steve Isaacs, formerly of Skycycle. So far I think the new band is great. Please Dave, now that you have reunited with some of your former bandmates, please bring back the old Dave...please!
