    A reformed Alice In Chains played a free show in its Seattle hometown yesterday with help from such local heroes as former Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil and Heart principal Ann Wilson.

    The 75-minute performance at the Moore Theater was billed as an "open rehearsal" for a five-city club tour that begins tomorrow at the Roxy Theater in Los Angeles. After that, the band heads to Europe for a slate of festival dates.
