Funeral Party

Funeral Party will be hitting the road with ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead next month as direct support on their full US tour. See confirmed dates below. The band is also confirmed for SXSW 2009. Funeral Party's debut album is set for release on April 21st and music will be available in the near future. In the meantime, their digital only The Bootleg EP is out now at all digital retailers featuring their blogger approved jam "Car Wars."

Described by the LA Times as "a quintet of electro-charged youngsters from East L.A.. At moments recalling the dance-punk revivalism of early Moving Units and The Rapture and at others bouncing along to a skittish cowbell like LCD Soundsystem." The band's universal appeal to dance, funk, disco and punk fans alike has contributed to their rising popularity.

Funeral Party just completed their first full US tour as direct support for Yelle and are currently putting the finishing touches on their debut album at The Mars Volta's studio in Los Angeles which will be released April 21st. The band is going to be all over SXSW this year so get them on your radar!
