Santogold will support Coldplay on part of their North American arena tour this summer (dates below). These will be the first Santogold live dates in the US since SXSW and Coachella where her performances became highlights of the festivals. She will also perform at this year's Lollapalooza and Central Park SummerStage. Downtown/Lizard King released Santogold's self-titled debut album in April and it instantly became one of 2008's most acclaimed albums with Rolling Stone declaring her "The future of music, today" due to the album's genre-defying sound. Critics and radio have championed the record's first single "L.E.S. Artistes" and the video became an online sensation.

Rock legend Alice Cooper has revealed the track listing for his new album 'Along Came A Spider'. The album is set for release on July 29th in North America.
The track listing for "Along Came A Spider" is as follows:
'Catch Me', 'Hungry', 'I Am The Spider', 'I Know Where You Live', '(In Touch With) Your Feminine Side', 'Killed By Love', 'Salvation', 'The One That Got Away', 'Vengeance Is Mine', 'Wake The Dead', 'Wrapped In Silk'. According to Cooper, "The album is based on a fictional serial killer named Spider, who wraps his victims in a silk web. "Every song is sort of a letter to the police," he explains. "They think they're investigating it from the outside, but he's actually woven them into the whole thing".
The album will feature a guest appearance from Ozzy Osbourne on harmonica, also a cameo from Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash.

Punk rockers Be Your Own Pet is holding a "make a banned video for a banned song" contest. This is in obvious reference to controversial lyrics that were censored by Universal. The censored material, however, will see the light of day.

Jim Ward, of Sleepercar, is not in any hurry to jump back into Sparta.
"One of the gut reactions I have now is to not plan too far ahead," Ward tells Billboard.com. "The last 10 years of my life have been very much part of a collective and planned out. Being part of a group gets old sometimes, and you need a break from it. You've got to remember you're an individual and can do what you want to sometimes."

Victory Records and Hawthorne Heights have reached an agreement ending their litigation. Suit was first brought by the band in 2006 for breach of contract. The label counter-sued, claiming rights to release future albums of the band.
The joint press release issued today by the label, drummer Eron Bucciarelli-Tieger and singer JT Woodruff did not disclose the terms. The label will release the band's third studio album, "Fragile Future," on Aug. 5.
