    Deardeparted

The new video was directed by Kevin Estrada who recently helmed the Serj Tankian video for "Saving Us."

Based in Orange County, Calif The Dear and Departed is made up of Australian, New Zealand and Welsh transplants. Having already toured with Avenged Sevenfold and AFI, The Dear & Departed were the only band to cover fellow Aussie's The Church this summer on the Vans Warped Tour. Influenced by the Cure, Joy Division and Sisters of Mercy, the band also delights in rocking out and decimating audiences.

    Coheed Cambria

Coheed and Cambria will embark on an extensive North American fall headline tour beginning Monday, October 29 in Toronto and winding up at Philadelphia's Electric Factory on Wednesday, November 28 (see full itinerary following). Support acts on the tour include rock veteran's Clutch and The Fall of Troy.

The Coheed and Cambria tour is in celebration of the release of the band's new Columbia Records album, "No World For Tomorrow," on Tuesday, October 23.

Coheed and Cambria (Claudio Sanchez - vocals, guitar; Travis Stever - guitar; Michael Todd - bass; Chris Pennie - drums) will offer fans a prelude to the band's headline tour with a special benefit concert raising funds to combat Alzheimer's disease. Organized by New York City Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, the concert to help end Alzheimer's will take place at Manhattan's High Line Ballroom, during the Coheed and Cambria and the CMJ Music Festival, on Friday, October 19.

"No World For Tomorrow," is dedicated to the memory of Antonia Cristiano, Claudio Sanchez' aunt, whose life was claimed last year by Alzheimer's. Cristiano -- a psychologist who played an essential role in the band's early career, counseled the group during deep growing pains and kept Coheed and Cambria from breaking up in 2002 -- was the inspiration "Justice in Murder," a key song on the new record.

"No World For Tomorrow" marks the apex and final chapter of "The Amory Wars," the conceptual, apocalyptic storyline which runs through the band's previous albums -- "The Second Stage Turbine Blade" (2002), "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3" (2003), and "Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness" (2005) - and chronicles the the trials and tribulations of main characters Coheed and Cambria Kilgannon and their children as they fight to save civilization.

Motley Cue's bassist Nikki Stixx sat down with Blender magazine and spoke of the days on the road...or I should say the sex days on the road.

He was quoted saying.."For us it was always, 'Let's set a goal for something stupid and see if we can do it.' We would put bounties out on stupid bitches, like whoever could sleep with the fattest chick," and And managers would start getting involved - one of them said there was a $10,000 bounty out for whoever could sleep with a mother-daughter team. Then that became too easy, so it was a mother-daughter-grandmother team. You couldn't pay me now to do half that shit."

Now people that is rock n roll.....

Our favorite drug addict is at it again!!!

Monday Pete Dogherty was arrested in east London for suspicion of possessing drugs, and some amazing Pete Dogherty way he was released from jail Tuesday morning with out ANY charges!

So the story is because he was on probation he was supposed to be brought into court within 24 hours of arrest.

Well it seems that some bonehead police officers did not know of this.... and once again Pete walks away from a situation ALIVE and NOT in a prison cell.

As of now Pete remains on probation and not going to jail as long as he can prove to the judge he's done with his use of crack, heroin, coke, and ketamine I guess you could say trail mix.

You know what I will give Pete credit of not joining the 2007 rehab trend..good job Pete on going druggie strong and having more lives that a cat! And You look great too keep it up!

    Crackhead

The battle Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen continues with Lily Allen having the last word at V Fest.

During Allen's set she poured herself a shot of jager and raised her glass while stating "It's the end of the weekend, you have got to have a drink. Here's to Amy Winehouse...ha"

Remind you this is when the media was claiming Winehouse checked into rehab for her 3 day bender.

While introducing her song "Everything just Wonderful" she also said "All these skinny girls in the magazines, Look at me, look at m"-heroin addicts! You are not that skinny unless you have an eating disorder or a drug habit."

Wow that British chick has balls...I live it..Lily lets do lunch sometime!

Unfortunately Allen is banned from America at this time and her tour has been canceled so that won't be happening.

But lets keep our eyes peeled for a Winehouse response, and hopefully she can keep her nose away from the white stuff long enough to give us one!
