One of my favorite men in rock, Scott Wieland, and the only man that can look good wearing silver pants...poured his heart out this week.

    Well not really.....

He did however write a letter to head coach of Notre Dame, Charlie Weis this week pleading him not to take the coaching job with the New York Giants.

He stated in his letter he would get down on his knees and beg Weis to follow through with his promises and bring home a CHAMPIONSHIP.

Scott Wieland on his knees begging??? ha...what an image

So Charlie could you please make our Scotty happy and stick with Notre Dame!!!!!

I think were all ready for some more killer tracks from Velvet Revolver!!!

It could be the motivation Wieland needs!!! :)

    Rock ON!

    Jared Leto before HOT

Jared Leto NOW an anorexic pill popper

I have to blame something on the random decision for Leto telling MTV News that 30 Seconds to Mars might be calling it quits.

Let me add their latest album 'A Beautiful Lie' just went platinum.

The band was quoted for saying 'it might be time to move on'

Hmmm sounds shady....obviously somebody is not getting along with somebody...wonder who??

    Maybe a brotherly squabble??

Bands just don't break up after an intense year of promotions and touring, and not forgetting the VMA nomination for 'The Kill'....which let me add was a random at the time considering the song had very little play.

But I guess some suit tie executive over at MTV agreed with me that "The Kill' was one of the best videos of 2006...

So for 2007 if were lucky the band will stay together and we can get another kick ass video out of 30 Seconds to Mars and MAYBE Jared Leto will eat a donut or two.....

    ROCK ON

Jared Leto, frontman of 30 Seconds to Mars and actor, lost his cool at Sundance Film Festival this week where he was promoting his new movie 'Chapter 27.' Sources from the New York Post stated that while a photographer was taking snap shots, Leto started screaming "No! No more, bro!" Soon after, a a large unknown man yanked on Leto's hair and the two were quickly shouting in each others faces. Fortunately no one was hurt, but Leto came back a few hours later looking to settle the score.

It is official, Rage Against the Machine is reuniting for the 2007 Coachella festival held in Indio, California April 27-29. The band co-headlined with Tool at Coachella in 1999, and has not performed together since 2000 when they split over creative differences. Rage will be performing on the last day, and most likely closing the festival. They certainly have no lack of talent performing before them. The scheduled lineup includes Peeping Tom, the Decemberists, the Happy Mondays, Arctic Monkeys, Tiesto, Kings Of Leon, Travis, Placebo, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Lily Allen, Roky Erickson, Paul Van Dyk, DJ Shadow, Satellite Party, Stephen Marley featuring Jr. Gong, Konono No. 1, Nickel Creek, the Black Keys, the New Pornographers, Rufus Wainwright, the Rapture, !!!, Richie Hawtin, Explosions In The Sky, Junior Boys, Sparklehorse, Soulwax, the Kooks, Felix Da Housecat, Blonde Redhead, Damien Rice, Lupe Fiasco, Jose Gonzales, Brazilian Girls, Regina Spektor, Ozomatli, Peaches, Arcade Fire, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Lead singer Randall S. Shesto II of heavy metal band Nailwounds was charged with sexual assault on Friday (Jan. 19) for allegedly having sex with a 15 year old girl he met on Myspace. After arranging the meeting through Myspace, the girl supposedly snuck out of her parents house that evening to go watch the Nailwounds performance. Soon after the show, Shesto and the girl left in his car where the district attorney stated they had consensual sex and then crashed his vehicle. Shesto's charges carry a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison and a $100,000 fine. He was released Friday on a $1,500 cash bond.
