A Madison, WI security guard has sued Nine Inch Nails, accusing guitarist Aaron North of knocking him out with his microphone stand. The lawsuit asks for a trial and compensation for damages. The suit claims that North rendered the guard, Mark LaVoie, unconscious when he was hit on the head by the mic stand. LaVoie says the band is responsible for his injuries because NIN still "employ [North] when Nine Inch Nails knew or should have known that [North] had a history of violent, assaultive and criminal behavior."
