Acclaimed musician, producer and misfit singer-songwriter Jim Bianco recently released his third full-length album, Loudmouth.

By definition, a 'loudmouth' is "a person who tends to talk too much in an offensive or tactless way," and this talented troublemaker epitomizes the meaning (in a fun, entertaining way!) with each track.

Like his previous albums, Bianco goes at it again; exposing, embarrassing and offending ex-girlfriends, future girlfriends, fellow singer-songwriters and, most notably, himself.

Listen to Jim Bianco's full album, Loudmouth, right here!

The Huffington Post recently premiered Bianco's new single, "Sinners," and declared that "[it] just might become your new favorite party anthem," so put your party pants on and listen up!

Springing from the UK, Little Comets are a four-piece band whose musical style has been likened to Vampire Weekend.

    Rafter

Animal Feelings hits on all cylinders, an exhilarating pop free-for-all that recalls Nintendo composer Koji Kondo leading a fantasy camp super-jam with Cody Chesnutt, Justin Timberlake, and the Tom Tom Club. Full of FM-ready pop gems playfully sabotaged by ’s fearless mouth, opening track, “No F**king Around,” is set to a grooving, silky R & B stomp straight out of Rihanna or D’angelo’s cookbook, which leads to the hand-clap, clutter-free beauty of “Fruit” where Rafter sings about his recent courtship with his new wife. “Feels Good” is a slow, sexy, near-falsetto jam anchored by a minimalist Jackson 5 bassline, and is immediately followed by the house-party vibes of the title track. With "Never Gonna Die,” Rafter dials up a Clash-flavored pep talk about accepting death and celebrating love, while the record ends on a buoyant, spirited, shaker-heavy note with “Beauty, Beauty.” Ask him to drop names for his latest work and he'll say R. Kelly and Sublime Frequencies' Radio Phnom Penh without batting an eye. He'll tell you Animal Feelings is "a marriage record, a lust record, a death and sex record" and he'll tell you to read KLF's notorious book, The Manual, on writing a #1 single.

    Dead Trees

Modest beginnings play out in the The Dead Trees' music in the best way - there's no artifice here, not much "production" to speak of, just a bunch of good musicians doing what comes naturally on a batch of deceptively elegant songs. Two guitars, background vocals here and there, a manic drum fill when necessary. It all feels easy and right. Says Michael: "We don't deprive any of our songs. They're like our children, all different and each as important as the next. We're just borrowing from our heroes and trying to raise a family."

Since those basement sessions things have happened pretty fast - the band sent some CDs around, and next thing you know The Dead Trees were supporting Albert Hammond, Jr. on a national tour, did The House Of Blues in LA, Webster Hall in NYC, just about burned down the Metro in Chicago, and abandoned a broken down van somewhere in Iowa. There were showcases at Spaceland and Mercury Lounge and interest at labels was piqued.  Now being represented by the management duo of Bryna Gootkind (Port O'Brien, Kaki King, Melissa Ferrick) and Ryan Gentles (The Strokes, Albert Hammond, Jr.), they‘ve relocated to Portland, Oregon where they completed their debut LP, King Of Rosa, out now on Milan Records. After signing a Japan-only deal with Japan's leading indie label Five Man Army, the band was invited to perform at the Summer Sonic Festival in Tokyo and Osaka in the summer of 2008 in support of the upcoming release.

The Dead Trees have shared a stage with a slew of indie luminaries including  The Whigs, Rosewood Thieves, Little Joy Albert Hammond Jr. and in early 2010, they will hit the road with The Cribs and Adam Green!
