We Go To 11 was formed in 2007 by two brothers, Jake Hartwell and Zac Hartwell, and Sled Allen, their good friend since birth. At the time, Jake was 14, Zac was 12 and Sled was 11. Despite their age, they were bursting with talent, highly competitive, and looking for a way to maximize the fun-factor. From day one they resolved to be purists at playing hard driving rock ? maximum power, minimal effects, and compelling truth in their music. Jake learned to read music and play piano at age 7, and later taught himself to play bass. Zac picked up a guitar at age 9 and never put it down. Sled sounds like he was born with drumsticks in his hands and has been surrounded and mentored by some of the best musicians on the planet. Leader, their first song, was written two weeks after the band formed. Since then, they have written and arranged all of their own songs and are currently working on the lineup for their first album.
