On August 6, 2008 the band announced that after 6 months of auditioning for a new pianist/guitarist to replace Cameron Keym, they had recruited Paul Cadena (Guitar) and Christopher Evans (Keyboards/Synths), the newest members of The Sleeping.
The band proceeded to tour across the East Coast and Midwest US with Envy On The Coast and Secret Lives of the Freemasons.
On February 17, 2009, new album What It Takes was released.

From Wikipedia:The Sleeping is an American rock band from Long Island, New York, formed in 2003. The band was founded by Cameron Keym, Sal Mignanio, and Joe Zizzo from the remains of Skycamefalling, after auditioning twenty-two potential singers, they came across Doug Robinson, former singer/guitarist of the band Stillwelle. Doug has done guest vocals on Ever Since Radio's EP "Burn Down This Beach Town" Action Action's first album "Don't Cut Your Fabric to This Year's Fashion", The Rescue's EP "Phone Numbers", and most recently on Amen. The Animal's second EP "My Iron Heart." He has also done guest vocals for Four Letter Lie on the song "Cowboys & Indians." Their music has been featured in video games including Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam for the Wii, Madden NFL 07, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock ("Don't Hold Back"), Guitar Hero: World Tour ("Bomb the World"), and FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage ("Listen Close").
