Stalking Tom was a dark, melodic indie rock four-piece, based in Oakland. They were known for their extremely loud and rather tight live shows and moody, dark and forward- thinking songwriting.
The band was composed of Aaron Rusch (guitar), Todd Collins (drums), Brian Cartwright (bass), and Mike Peaslee (vocals). Aaron and Todd, former band mates in the San Francisco industrial rock band Here We Burn, formed the band in early 2000. Brian joined later that year. In August of 2001, they were joined by singer Adam Yas. The following year, Yas left to join Wes Borland's short-lived project Eat the Day.
