Further Seems Forever (often abbreviated FSF) is an emotionally driven rock band based in Pompano Beach, Florida, United States that formed after the breakup of the well established hardcore outfit, Strongarm, in 1998. FSF has often been labeled a "Christian band" due to their long association with Tooth & Nail Records and performances at festivals such as Cornerstone, yet members maintain that their lyrics are open to free interpretation.
The band went through three different lead singers, Chris Carrabba (Dashboard Confessional), Jason Gleason(Affinity, and later ActionReaction) and finally Jon Bunch (Sense Field). The final line-up:

The band also appeared on numerous compilation discs such as Emo Diaries Volume 4, Punk Goes Pop, A Santa Cause: Its a Punk Rock Christmas, and Rock Music: A Tribute to Weezer.
In late 2005, FSF went on a long hiatus. And in January 2006, the band posted a message on their website announcing that their shows in early 2006 through the United States and Canada would be their last as a band. During its existence, FSF gave more than a thousand performances. The individual band members proceeded to new jobs. There would be no new album project, but a compilation entitled Hope This Finds You Well was released by Tooth & Nail Records in April 2006. The band also indicated there would be a DVD release of videos and live performance scenes entitled "The Final Curtain". As of late 2010, it was announced the reunion of the band alongside the original singer, Chris Carrabba.
The name "Further Seems Forever" reflects the band's feelings, being constantly away from family and loved ones while on tour.

From Wikipedia:Further Seems Forever was an American rock band formed in 1998 in Pompano Beach, Florida and disbanded in 2006. Over the course of their career the band experienced several lineup changes, resulting in a different lead vocalist performing on each of their three studio albums. Original singer Chris Carrabba recorded with the band for their first album The Moon is Down in 2001 before leaving to start Dashboard Confessional. He was replaced by Jason Gleason, formerly of Affinity, who performed on the 2003 album How to Start a Fire. Gleason left the band in 2004 due to interpersonal tensions and was replaced by former Sense Field vocalist Jon Bunch for the band's final studio album Hide Nothing. None of the three vocalists can be said to have recorded more than one full album with the band, as posthumous compilation albums included contributions from multiple singers.
The band's music is often classfied as indie rock and is frequently associated with the emo genre. They have also been classified as a Christian rock act due to the individual band members' religious beliefs, frequent themes of Christianity in their lyrics, their association with the predominantly Christian Tooth & Nail Records label, and their performances at Christian-themed festivals such as Cornerstone. Despite these associations, the group often claimed not to be an explicitly Christian band, but rather a rock band with Christian members.
