"Dead Confederate’s music is intense - a lumbering, southern, psychedelic grizzly that reveals itself like fireworks in slow motion. They’re raw rock songs with a drawl. Dead Confederate was formed in August 2006 by musicians hailing from Augusta, GA, where seeds of the current lineup were planted as far back as high school. Members now reside in Athens and Atlanta, GA.

The band recently signed with TAO Records/Razor & Tie Entertainment. An EP will be available this fall and the full length LP is set for release in Spring ‘08."
